Numerous of our realizations were built upon customers' requirements. You will find in this section some examples of large area machineries we did, could they be custom Sunirad light soakers, or Solixon solar simulators.

Our Sunirad and Solixon equipments consist in arrays of Lumixo light engines. The complete machine is then built for the targeted illuminated area specified by the customer.

Thanks to our Lumixo light engines, the illuminated area of these machines benefits from a continuous and stable irradiation. Sunirad and Solixon equipments can be ordered with a light spectrum of either Class A*, Class B* or Class C* to fit every needs.

Our classic systems typically meet the Class BBB required for most of the testing standards, while our high end systems can reach Class AAA specifications.

All our machines are constructed to give an easy access to the illuminating chamber. Furthermore, they come with a network interface to allow remote control of the installation.

Sunirad units

The Sunirad units are built for light soaking, they feature a sample holder thermostated at 50°C to meet the standard light soaking conditions.

Solixon units

On the other hand, the Solixon units are built for solar simulation. They thus rely on a thorough thermal engineering to reach 25°C on the sample holder, required to meet the Standard Testing Conditions (STC), as per IEC 60904-9.

Case study: Solixon A-2515

This Solixon A-2515 unit was assembled to realize solar simulation on a 250 x 150 cm area. The system relies on 20 Lumixo light engines to obtain a Class A spectrum, as well as Class A uniformity and Class A stability.
